Getting started

What wallet do I need?

Use a wallet offered by the connection dialog. The app will ask to switch networks if needed.

Do I need real money?

Yes. Sync World runs on Robinhood Chain mainnet. You need ETH to buy keys and pay gas.

Do I need to buy my own key during setup?

No. Profile setup takes you to Explore. You can buy your own first key later from Profile when you want to open your market and room.

Prices and fees

Why did the next price increase after I bought?

The bonding curve raises the next price as supply grows. Selling lowers it.

Can a key lose value?

Yes. The price falls when holders sell. Review the live quote and only take risk you understand.

What are the fees?

Each trade charges 10% of the curve price. The profile owner receives 5%, and Sync World receives 5%.

Why is the amount in the confirmation different from the profile price?

The profile shows the curve price. The confirmation shows the final quote including fees.

Chat

I bought a key but cannot send a message yet.

The device may still be joining the room. Wait for the joining state to finish. If it does not recover, refresh Chat and reopen the room.

What happens when I sell my last key?

Your wallet is removed from the active room membership during reconciliation. Messages already delivered to your device are not remotely erased.

Is chat encrypted?

XMTP encrypts messages between participants. Room access still depends on current key ownership.

Profile and account

Can I change my username or photo?

Yes. Open Profile, then Edit. Usernames must remain unique. You can choose another preset avatar or upload a new image.

What happens to my keys if I log out?

Nothing. Keys are stored on chain and remain in your wallet. Connect the same wallet to access them again.

Safety and launch

Has Sync World been audited?

The contract is based on the Friend3V1 pattern audited by PeckShield. Sync World's changes have not received an independent audit. See Trust and safety before using the app.
